Builders’ Support Facility
DCK Enterprise’s Builders’ Support Facility offers eligible residential builders in WA interest-free loans of up to $300,000 to help complete unfinished homes started before 1 January 2022.
This Facility aims to address delays in construction and rising costs, helping homeowners move into their homes sooner. The interest-free loan will be issued in installments to encourage timely project completion. Each successful applicant can receive up to $60,000 per home, with a total of $300,000 available, repayable within five years. Each home under this loan must reach completion within 12 months of signing the loan agreement.
Application Information
Applications for the Builders’ Support Facility will open on Monday, 18 March, and close at 5pm (AWST) on Tuesday, 30 April 2024. With a funding limit of $10 million, applications will be reviewed on a “first come” basis, and eligibility criteria will apply. Program guidelines, terms, and conditions are available to help applicants prepare.
DCK Enterprise will oversee the application process, while loan payments and repayments will be managed by the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science, and Innovation (JTSI).
Funding for the Builders’ Support Facility is limited, and interest-free loans are offered on a “first come” basis to eligible applicants. We recommend that prospective applicants review the program guidelines, terms, and conditions and prepare their documents before applications open on Monday, 18 March.

- Registering interest is not the same as applying for the Facility. If you registered your interest before 31 January 2024, you will still need to submit a formal application when the Facility opens.
- If you have not registered interest, you are still eligible to apply when applications open.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the Builders’ Support Facility, applicants must:
- Have at least one Class 1a residential building that began construction before 1 January 2022 and has not reached practical completion by 30 March 2024.
- Be solvent and capable of completing the residential buildings outlined in the application.
- Be a WA-based residential building business operating continuously in WA since 1 January 2020.
- Hold a WA Building Contractor registration without interruption since 1 January 2020.
- Maintain a valid ABN and GST registration without interruption since 1 January 2020.
- Ensure all residential building sites in this application are located in WA.
- Agree to the application terms and conditions.
